Thorough testing and monitoring of each treatment phase, ensures appropriate material selection and application procedures. A successful treatment can only be achieved by sequencing each conservation treatment phase at the appropriate time, and by allowing for appropriate cure times for all conservation materials, particularly when stone consolidaionis required.
