Many stone types and subtypes have been treated by ConservArt LLC, including granites, limestones, marbles, sandstones, schists, and slates. The overall treatment plan is carefully designed to appropriately address the need and condition of the specific stone object. Thorough testing and monitoring of each treatment phase, ensures appropriate material selection and application procedures. A successful treatment can only be achieved by sequencing each conservation treatment phase at the appropriate time, and by allowing for appropriate cure times for all conservation materials, particularly when stone consolidaionis required. The client is informed of the progress of each treatment phase and consulted with all aesthetic choices.
