Cemeteries grace local country roads, townships and urban centers, providing a wealth of historic, artistic and spiritual benefits. Markers range greatly in age, style and materials, however, all are endangered by physical damage, chemical decay,
loss and, most unfortunately, senseless vandalism. These diverse, shared treasures require our combined preservation skills.
Grass roots efforts by local volunteers can provide many of the basics needed to begin and carryout the conservation process.
Conservation professionals can assist with development and be utilized for complex issues. With insightful planning and informed treatments, threatened landmarks will be preserved for future generations.
